A mixed-media humorous illustration for a movie no one has made yet.

A note about the process here, as it exemplifies how I go back and forth between digital and analog drawing, painting, and art-making.

The figure drawing was first done with a brush pen on paper, then scanned in and colored in the computer. The spaceship was drawn on the computer in vector software. The starscape background was made using acrylic paint in a low-tech airbrush technique, then scanned in. The greenery was drawn on iPad. The final version of the artwork was finished in Photoshop where all the elements were combined together, layered, and touched up.

So this is a combination of digital and paper art, painting and drawing, software and paint.
