Printed at a workshop at Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum. Wood type on pages from a vintage road map atlas, circa 18x24 inches.
This is a personal series of prints. The state maps used to print the phrase on are all states where I have lived, or spent significant time in.
The title and text refer to the time I spent living the nomadic lifestyle in the Southwestern USA, living out of my van and in a tent for months at a time, traveling often between CA, NM, and WY. I only stopped living that lifestyle due to poor health and finances. Meanwhile it was a creative, productive period for me artistically and personally.
