In February 2020 I made a Green Man linocut print, which became the cover art for a chapbook of Green Man poems, and additional artwork. Over the next two years, this became a trilogy of linocut-illustrated poetry chapbooks.

Designing the Green Man poem chapbook. I decided that to save effort, only the slipcase cover would be letterpress-printed. The over was printed in green ink, while the interior pages were designed and laid out on the computer. I chose coordinated typefaces, layout, and illustration elements. The process began by making two stages of mockup copies of the chapbook, each sewn on the spine, to see what my spreads would look like. After a proofreading correction pass, I did the final layout, and printed reproduction masters of the interior signature spreads.
