Commissioned in 2013 by a Dane County Arts grant, in Wisconsin, I designed, constructed, and installed an multimedia installation in a corn crib at newly-established Silverwood County Park. The installation includes materials gathered from the former farm, plus a solar-powered music and laser light show, initiated by pressing a button. The installation is still in place.

This photograph shows the interior space of the art installation, showcasing the small bench I made with a journal for visitors and guests to write or draw in. I left the journal in a waterproof bag, along with pens and a watercolor set. The ceramic bowl on the bench caught rainwater, which visitors could use to paint with watercolors in the journal.
The journal was left at the installation for four years, and many pages were filed with thoughts, responses to the art installation, poems, drawings, and paintings. I also added my own logbook notes of repairs and change made over time. I have kept this journal in my collection since the completion of its time in the installation.
