Commissioned in 2013 by a Dane County Arts grant, in Wisconsin, I designed, constructed, and installed an multimedia installation in a corn crib at newly-established Silverwood County Park. The installation includes materials gathered from the former farm, plus a solar-powered music and laser light show, initiated by pressing a button. The installation is still in place.

Winter 2016, showing the weathered fence coming down in sinter storms. I would eventually rebuild the wall fence, and also repair and change the interior of the corn crib installation. This photo was made in the dead of winter to document the process of weathering and change, as part of the purpose of the Temple of Deep Time: tis how how time and change happen to all things.
This photo shows the custom built computer made to control the solar-powered music and laser light program. It is built on a custom programmed Arduino board, with a built-in MP3 player continuing my original music compositions. When you press the switch on the computer's weatherproof box, a random number generator chooses a music program, with randomly selected laser light programs that play as long as the music is playing. Everything is powered by a single solar panel charging a small deep-cycle battery.
