Poetry Chapbook 3

Shown here is an overview of the process of taking a poem and sketch in my art journal through to completion as an illustrated poem letterpress print. This is part of the illustrated poetry chapbook project. For this image, I incorporated the Japanese character for "poetry" into the illustration. Where does poetry happen, after all, but in that moment between the brush (pen) and the paper?
